FS-Elliott’s R1000 Compressor Control System Wins Plant Engineering’s Product of the Year Award

Export, PA, April 16, 2015 – FS-Elliott Co., LLC, a leading manufacturer of oil-free centrifugal air and gas compressors, has announced today that their R1000 Control System has won Bronze in Plant Engineering Magazine’s 2014 Product of the Year Awards in the compressed air category.

FS-Elliott’s R1000 Control System transforms sophisticated technology into a simple and intuitive user experience. Developed with the needs of the industrial market in mind, the R1000 features the industry’s first 9-inch, full touchscreen display as standard. Innovative control modes including Ambient Compensation Control, Pressure Band Optimization, and Integrated Compressor Control enable operators to better monitor and control their energy consumption.

“It is an honor to receive such a highly recognized award, as it acknowledges our newest control system as an innovative and powerful solution that enables FS-Elliott customers to increase energy efficiency and reduce their operating costs,” said Sue Benes, Industrial Product Marketing Manager.

For the past 26 years, Plant Engineering has recognized new products and services designed to assist plant managers in performing their job in a safer and more efficient manner for their Product of the Year Award. "What is most important about Plant Engineering's Product of the Year Award is that it is voted on by our readers--the people who buy and specify the products that will improve their plant operation," said Bob Vavra, Plant Engineering’s Content Manager. "We value our readers' input in all areas, and the winners of Product of the Year awards should value this recognition as well."
