For over 60 years, FS-Elliott has proudly manufactured centrifugal compressors right here in the United States. From design and engineering to machining, assembly, and performance testing, our commitment to American manufacturing is deeply rooted in who we are as a company. We believe that building our products domestically isn’t just about location; it’s about delivering unmatched quality, responsiveness, and reliability to the industries that power our nation.

At our headquarters in Export, Pennsylvania, we operate one of the most advanced compressor manufacturing facilities in the country. In 2021, we expanded our footprint to 180,000 square feet, investing over $77 million in precision machining, testing, and automation technology to support long-term growth. This facility is home to the production of our centrifugal airends and supports the entire lifecycle of our equipment, from prototyping and design to final testing and service support.

We are proud to be the only major centrifugal compressors manufacturer that keeps large-scale production in the United States, helping us meet the needs of our U.S. customer base with speed and confidence. Supporting this effort is a local supply chain of more than 100 suppliers across 18 states, contributing to the strength of American industry and creating more than 2,000 indirect jobs in addition to our 300+ direct employees. In 2023, Manufacturing contributed $2.3 trillion to U.S. GDP, amounting to 10.2 % of total U.S. GDP, measured in chained 2017 dollars, according to BEA data.*
